returns now, moving south and east. strawberry fields around pescadero getting a little wet weather. 36 santa rosa, 37 napa, everyone else in the low to mid 40s, mountain view and san jose, mid 40s. this is one of the warmer nights out of the next couple a lot more 30s the next couple of nights. scattered showers inland towards hollister. another round moves in during the evening and overnight hours, showers, thunderstorm, snow to around 3,000 feet, that is because it is going to be so chilly with the next batch of showers moving in brings colder air. here the low that came through overnight brought us thunderstorms, hail around hayward, san leandro, castro valley, that is moving on let's point our attention to this low, our last chance of organized thunderstorms that hits during the latter parts of the afternoon into the evening. you can see right here, all moving away by noon. clouds are going to be out there and sunshine. then clouds start to redevelop during the afternoon during the warmest part of the day. best chance of thunderstorms, over the ocean where the greatest instability

of small coastal towns in california, you think of beautiful beaches, but in pescadero, a town about 33 miles from santa cruz, something else is bringing in the tourists. that's right, goats. welcome to harley goat farm in san mateo county, where alpine goats are the star attractions. dee harley runs this 9-acre farm, looking after about 200 goats. this is the only dairy in the county. >> it's not that i had this dream of having a goat farm. i think i was always going to be a farmer of some kind. i grew up in northern england in yorkshire and it was a very rural place. so, i was always attracted to that lifestyle, i just didn't necessarily think it would manifest with goats, you know? >> like many of the cheese makers in california, it's all largely done by hand. although a vegetable rennin culture is added to the pasteurized milk, to give it the initial yogurt texture. the mixture is collected in cheesecloth bags and the resulting curds are left to hang in them for about 2 days. after that, comes the fun part, kneading the cheese. >> look at that. it's like ice cream. but, also, there'

headed for pescadero, santa cruz mountains and into san jose in the south bay other the next hour or so. i think the hour to two hour timeframe is good for the heaviest of the rain moving through now. back edge this is the cold front making eastward progress when you get a wave on the cold front it slows it down because of the counterclockwise flow it increases winds out of the south and holds that cold front up back side that low you get northerly winds going to push the cold front through and accelerate it by the 2:00 being hour and take the heavier rain with it. moisture upstream, scattered showers even during the afternoon and evening. heaviest of the showers, flooding potential for power outages all that starts to taper around 1:00, 2:00. off and on showers through saturday we'll keep having southerly moist wind move through tomorrow at times it will be okay to be out are anywhere it going to be very wet on the ground. the next storm comes in sunday. here's that low and you can see it holding up the cold front, watch as it accelerates east by 2:00, heaviest rain still scattered sho

in santa cruz proper and nancy in pescadero, made it down to 34 degrees. bell, the temperature did. i -- well, the temperature did. half moon bay airport at 31. so mostly clear skies. a little kind of system flirting by. no big deal. they would just go by. storm track stays sot -- to the north until maybe the end of the week. a little warmer. upper 50s yesterday. we'll go 60s today. overall, we're looking for a rather traffic beginning. cold, 30s, 40s. higher clouds but a mix of sun and clouds. temperatures kinds of coming up from 3 to 4 degrees from sunday. plenty of -- this is just feedback from the sacramento radar, but a few high clouds. we're on the southern edge of this. watch how this really stays to the north. stays in the north right there. around ukiah. fort bragg, waiting, waiting, waiting. a stronger system will drop in and then therein lies the rub. it looks -- it looks like a quiet week. high clouds, can't get away from the 30s. days are very short. low 60s for many. i did go 67 in santa cruz. that would be the warmest gilroy not far away. redwood city, 63 after the 58 y

and down around the south a from pescadero. wind advisory is going to keep temperatures up, gusty south winds already 57 oakland half moon bay 55 napa, temperatures have come up with the southerly winds gusting to near 40 miles an hour half moon bay, 25 mile an hour gusts in san jose they will continue to increase throughout the morning as the front gets closer warning along the coast, advisory for everyone, stormy commute, rain shifts south tomorrow, the second system heads our way late tomorrow into friday morning. just as soggy. this is a quick mover, it continues to pump up the subtropical moisture we have to get that low in with that we could see the possibility of a thunderstorm so it is steering everything in our direction with that little break thursday, next system, by in time we could see flooding around here saturday into sunday. 6:00 the rain is getting more moderate, look at 8:00 yellows, still more offshore, 9:00 by 1:00, it is behind us winds taper we'll see scattered showers evening commute looking good. thursday afternoon, rains in the north bay by thursday night friday
